Prison Service Credit Union is delighted to announce the launch of our Bursary Competition.  This competition is open to all PRISCU members which allows you to nominate any family member who is attending or will be attending any third level education/PLC or apprenticeship. Application & Terms & Conditions below.

Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility:

  • The bursary competition is open to all members of Prison Service Credit Union who has a child enrolling/enrolled in a recognised third level educational course/PLC or apprenticeship.

2. Application Process:

To enter, applicants must submit their entry by completing an entry form on our website www.priscu.ie by the closing date of 31 August 2025 (Terms and conditions are found under the “Our Services” heading on the homepage of the website or by clicking the bursary competition banner on the homepage).

  • A separate entry form must be completed for each qualifying child.
  • Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.

3. Judging Criteria:

  • Winning entries will be randomly picked from qualifying entries received on or before the closing date of 31 August 2025.
  • A panel of judges from PRISCU will select the winners.
  • The decision of the judges is final

4. Prizes:

  • The winner(s) will receive their prize via cheque, payable to the winner, which will be posted to the main members’ address.
  • The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives.
  • Winning entries are NOT excluded from future bursary draws.

5. Notification of Winners:

  • Winners will be notified via post within 3 working days of the winning selection.
  • Winners may be required to participate in promotional activities and provide a photograph and quote for marketing purposes.

6. Data Protection:

  • By entering the competition, participants consent to the processing of their personal data for the administration of the competition.

7. Cancellation or Changes:

  • PRISCU reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice.
  • Any changes will be posted on the website.

8. Governing Law:

  • The competition shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ireland.

9. Acceptance:

  • By entering, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
